The students and I will learn about and incorporate cultural knowledge into their practices, and adapt to diversity and the cultural contexts of the communities we serve.

How will you establish positive relationships with your students and their parents?                       (FEAP a.2.d/FPEC 7.1/InTASC 2d.p, 2j.k, 2m.d, 4m.k, 10q.d)
Make parent encounters warm and friendly, communicate often with parents whether it’s academically or dealing with behavior, make positive phone calls, and learn the parents’ names.  Always listening to the parent and thanking them for their time and support. To establish a positive relationship with the students, I will get to know them. Individualize the instruction so that it tailor to their interest and needs. Positive teacher talk is the most important because it allows the student to feel comfortable learning and not have to worry about harsh language.

How will you maintain a climate of openness, inquiry, fairness, and support?                                 (FEAP a.2.f/FPEC 2.6/InTASC 3a.p, 3j.k, 3n.d, 3q.d)
I will inquire about the extracurricular activities the students are involved in around school. The students and I will clap after a student presents something to the class. I will give criticism in a positive way. The students and I will give high fives for good behavior or completing an assignment.

How will you organize, allocate, and manage the resources of time, space, and attention?              (FEAP a.2.a/FPEC 2.1/InTASC 3d.p)
I will demonstrate the flexibility of time by changing timing and sequencing of activities and/or schedule in order to maximize learning and document changes in student behavior.  I will organize the physical setting based on analysis of student behavior and improving active learning to minimize disruptions, improve monitoring, and/or maximize environment for specific educational purpose. I will manage the attention of the students by changing strategies to meet an identified need (challenging student, disruptive group), locating information and resources, implementing changes, and documenting effects.
